There are many “Ways to Give” at Kresge Church

When one considers how to give to the local church community, there are two ways to view this opportunity. We encourage everyone to prayerfully consider ways they can give with their Gifts, their Time, and their Talents.

We are all blessed with Talents that can be shared in ministry, leadership and mission. The opportunities abound and are only limited by your imagination and your energy.

We are all blessed with Time that can be used to serve in our local church, whether it be in a ministry area, with worship or on a case-by-case basis. Again, the opportunities about and are only limited by your imagination and…TIME.

Lastly, we believe in a biblical principle of the Tithe when we discuss Gifts. We believe that EVERYTHING we have is a blessing from God and our Gifts should be utilized to support ministry and mission Here, There, and Everywhere. While some may not be able or ready to Tithe (10%), making an offering is a way to begin the habit of giving regularly. Regardless, your Gifts matter and all Gifts are carefully administered in careful, confidential and thoughtful stewardship at Kresge Methodist. All Gifts are considered tax-deductible and a statement of receipt from the church is available upon request (all Members receive year-end giving statements).

Ways to Give of your Gifts includes:

Sunday Morning Offering Plate (check or cash)

By Mail to the church office: Kresge Methodist Church, 15 Booger Hollow Road, Cedartown, GA 30125

By regular distribution or transfer directly from your financial institution to our financial institution or thru US Mail (contact the church office if you would like to set up auto-draft and/or auto deposit)

By distribution from your IRA/401K or similar program, avoiding taxes and possible penalties and/or early withdrawl fees (please discuss this option with your tax advisor)

Through Estate Planning or Will, you may desire to make a gift or donation with assets that can be used to further the ministry of the church (gifts, real estates, stocks, etc.). Again, please discuss this option with your family and your tax advisor or attorney

Regardless of how you “give”, your gifts are critical at Kresge Church!
