Membership at Kresge Church begins with You!

We offer Membership for those interested in joining a loving fellowship and desiring to serve Christ through the local congregation. The World is our Parish so when joining Kresge Methodist, you become a part of the large Global Methodist Church and join with us in serving as the hands and feet of Christ in our community, nation and world (as Jesus’ disciples, we are called to serve and witness to Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria).

Our process is a simple one and begins with Prayer and then conversation with the Pastor. Membership can either be by transfer of faith from another recognized Christian, bible-teaching church or by Profession of Faith (normally preceded by Holy Baptism). When joining the church, your membership is held at Kresge Methodist Church, a Wesleyan Methodist Church in the Global Methodist Church. Your membership vows commit you to supporting the local church with your Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service and Witness. Upon joining our fellowship, a letter of transfer will be sent to your previous church (if applicable) and your name is added to the church role as a voting member with voice.
